The definitive collection of annotated historic photographs relating to Prudhoe and surrounding districts.

Our Society was formed about a quarter of a century ago by Jim Standish.

We have about 50 members, many of whom, but my no means all, are now retired.

We have successfully produced several local history books, and the profits from these have kept our subs at an artificially low rate, considering the quality of the speakers that we attract.

Annual membership is £10.

Non members are very welcome at any of our meetings on payment of £1.50 per visit.

We meet on the LAST Wednesday of every month, with our new programme starting in March and running through the summer to October.

In May and June we organise outings to places of historic interest.

Meetings commence at 7.30pm in the Parish Hall, Front Street Prudhoe, NE42 5PW.
